I've noticed that AI, consulting, leadership, agile, transformation and LinkedIn content has started to develop it's own language.
You know the sort of thing.
"Let's unpack that."
"What I'm hearing is..."
"We need to focus on outcomes, not outputs."
"Let's create alignment around our strategic north star."
Individually, many of these phrases are perfectly reasonable. I've used some of them myself... except... the problem comes when the language starts to replace the thinking. At some point, jargon becomes a substitute for clarity. Conversations become longer, explanations become vaguer, and everyone leaves the meeting feeling like something important was said without being entirely sure what it was.
Spin the wheels and create your own AI-generated thought leadership masterpiece. If the result sounds like something you've heard in a workshop, steering committee, transformation programme or LinkedIn post recently, that may be entirely coincidental.
Or perhaps we've all been trained by the same language model.
Enjoy.
